Winter breake // taxi transfer

The castle is closed during our winter break (January 7, up to March 14, 2024). However, we offer 5 of our rooms/suites for guests who would like to spend some “alone time”. Arrival Friday and departure Sunday.

The price includes two nights' accommodation with a cake stand breakfast. Our restaurant, bistro and tower museum are closed.
Our reception is only open for check-in on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The luggage service is only available at check-in.

We can arrange a taxi for you to pick you up at the train station or KD boat stop in Oberwesel and bring you to our hotel when you know the exact arrival time. The price is about Euro 9,50 one way from the station and Euro 11,50 from the boat stop.

Our hotel and restaurant are open every year from the middle March until the middle of January.

Check-in time is from 03 p.m. The parking space for our guests is located just below the castle. From the parking to the hotel entrance it's a walk of 250 meters up a cobblestone pavement. Luggage service from the parking is available daily from 8:00 to 12:00 a.m. and from 03:00 till 07:30 p.m. Check-out time is until 11:30 a.m.
